Do people often tell you to "calm down?" Do you keep a journal or a scrap book? Do you attempt achieve all of your career goals at any cost? Are you early to most of your appointments? Are your memories stored neatly in a box or in files so that you can access them when you need them? Would your friends describe you as a little bit too hard-working, and urge you to take time off for yourself? Were you able to take care of yourself at an early age? If some of these characteristics describe you, you just might be a Capricorn!

Capricorn, the goat-fish, includes those born between December 23rd and January 20th. As a child, the Capricorn can be very nervous around new people. Introspective people, Capricorn people are often drawn to activities that let them explore themselves. Capricorn kids may need to be gently pushed to get out there and make friends, or to try new activities that might make them feel a little self-conscious. Once he or she finds the groove, Capricorn kids can stick to it until they are up to speed. Capricorn parents can be neurotic about their kids, and might place stringent rules upon them! However, they are responsible caretakers, and can be trusted to keep family matters stable, even in the face of tremendous difficulty. The only problem is when they take on too much responsibility and blame themselves for things that cannot have possibly been their fault!

A Capricorn needs a stable job or else he or she will constantly fret. He or she is a very good planner, and can help with organization and helping keep everybody's ducks in a row. Preferring to work with practical matters, a Capricorn may feel lost if placed in a world full of impractical ideas where there seems to be no method to the madness. Even with such a seemingly quiet demeanor, these traits make a Capricorn well suited to positions of authority. Ambitious and very goal focused, a Capricorn can take things very seriously until he or she has made it to the top! The attention to methodical approaches can be especially vital in the health and education industries! All in all, the Capricorn is very focused on career, so he or she will not be happy if forced to delay personal career goals due to family or other obligations. Even a very tough career path should be given priority and tackled head-on. Only then will the Capricorn be content to build upon what he or she has earned!

Capricorn lovers can need a little romancing, since traditional and conservative values may be in play. Be prepared for a long enough courtship that a Capricorn can feel comfortable taking the plunge into a deeper relationship! Even though Capricorn lovers are very independent and don't need a lot of hand-holding to get through life, they can still be nervous about whether a lover is somebody who can be trusted and depended upon in times of need. Capricorn people in relationships can tend to worry about fidelity issues, even when there is no reason to fret. They, themselves, however, are quite trustworthy and can be relied upon to help form a stable foundation for home life. In the worst case scenarios, a Capricorn might simultaneously manage to be aloof and jealous! Divorce will be avoided by a Capricorn even if it means having to become more distant or accepting a lot of blame. The tenacity of the Capricorn can be bad or good! Capricorn is most compatible with Taurus and Virgo.

A Capricorn may have a hard time with some of the less planned things in life. Surprise parties will be absolutely no fun. You may be your own worst enemy, being hard on yourself for tiny imperfections that others ignore. That artistic life path may be a bit too flighty for you. However, you'll be like the cruise director of your loved-ones' lives, always in the know about what is going on next. And you'll never have to wonder where your heart lies, because you know yourself through and through. It is just a matter of trusting yourself that can be tough! Bookmark and Share
